CORE SYSTEM

In the mid 1990s, CORE designed the CORE Outcome Measure (CORE-OM) as a non-proprietary measure of psychological distress and has produced a family of outcome measurement tools which are freely downloadable.  CORE PC (for personal computers) was then developed for analysing CORE data to assess service quality.  The latest system CORE Net offers web-based, dynamic, real-time data collection to support outcomes management, also introducing shorter CORE-10 and CORE-5 which enable progress to be tracked over a period.

CORE PC – Collecting data, analysing results, producing reports to maximise the benefits of outcome measurement.  Annual user base of about 250 UK services (over 100,000 patients).

  •  Visual displays of a patient’s score against cut-off norms to help assess severity
  • Selection of data filters and reports for in depth analysis and profiling patient journeys
  • Data export facilities to MS Word, Excel etc
  • Assessment and discharge data for each patient, an appraisal function for individual therapists and a scatter plot to look at patient outcomes service wide.

CORE Net – Web-basedsystem for tracking  progress, speeding recovery and improving services.  Visually stimulating, innovative and secure.  Used by over 50 services in UK and Europe.

  • Designed as a clinical tool for therapist and patient – improves therapeutic progression
  • Facilitates regular collection of patient (client) reported outcome measures (PROMs)
  • Improves data quantity and quality
  • Bespoke reporting
  • Secure system:  CORE IMS ISO27001 accredited, augmented by 2 factor authentication
  • Design flexibility and functionality:  100 configurable fields, 25 different sets of outcome measures, collection options during therapy, in the waiting room, by email/internet link
  • Full IAPT Minimum data set (MDS) and Young People versions.
